Wax melts 101: how to use them and how long they last
All the scent, no flame. A quick guide to getting the most out of your wax melts.

Wax melts are the same coconut-soy wax and fragrance as our candles, just without a wick. Instead of a flame, a wax warmer gently heats the wax so the scent fills the room.
How to use them
- Pop one or two cubes out of the clamshell.
- Place them in the dish of an electric or tealight wax warmer.
- Switch it on and give it 15 to 20 minutes to melt and start scenting the room.
When to swap them out
You'll notice the fragrance soften after several hours of melting. When it does, turn the warmer off, let the wax firm up slightly (or soak it up with a paper towel while it's still soft), and add fresh cubes.
Mix your own blend
One of the best parts of melts: you can combine them. Try one cube of Harmony with one cube of Mountain Berry for something fresh and bright, or Milk + Honey with Star of Bethlehem on a cold evening.
As with any heat source, keep your warmer on a stable surface, out of reach of children and pets, and never leave it running when you're away.
